Meet Monday Haircare’s Jamie Lupton

Jaimee Lupton took the beauty world by storm with the launch of Monday Haircare, which sold out from Australian supermarket Coles within days, with the stockist having to put a purchase limit on its products. Fashion magazine Grazia recently interviewed Lupton on all things beauty, and her favourite product: “Monday Haircare of course”.

Auckland-based Lupton, who has a PR background, set up Monday in partnership with fellow New Zealander, supermodel Georgia Fowler and Australian eyebrow queen, Kristin Fisher.

Earlier this year, Lupton discussed her business success with Australian fashion news site The Latch— She said:

“Social media has played a huge role in allowing us to connect with our audience and understand what they think about the product. Reviews are so relevant in this digital age and if your product doesn’t work like it should you will be found out very quickly.

“Being coined ‘Liquid Gold’ in the media … It’s been a little overwhelming, to say the least.”

Lupton plans to launch the brand in the US and the UK early next year.
