Return post-change

Crowded House head to South Africa in October performing concerts in Cape Town and Durban before ending their tour in Johannesburg on the 3th. Neil Finn said he and the band have fond memories of performing in South Africa in the early 199s. “A lot was happening and changing in South Africa at the time so there was a sense of anticipation in the air I think and we were probably one of the first bands to come in after the boycotts finished. We’re also delighted to have a drummer by the name of Matt Sherrod who is very much his own man and brought a great deal to Crowded House,” Finn said. He added that Crowded House was a band at the peak of its game. Crowded House formed in 1985 in Melbourne. Since 26, the group has released two albums, Time on Earth and Intriguer which have both reached number one on Australia’s Album Chart.
