Musical milestones

The Guardian gives a whirlwind overview of NZ music history, from kapa haka to deep house. Milestones of note include the formation of Split Enz in 1971, Flying Nun in 1981, and hip hop artist Scribe becoming the first NZ artist to simultaneously top the single and album charts in 2004.
