Camelle Kent Named CEO of Boston’s WellPet

Massachusetts natural pet food company WellPet has named New Zealander Camelle Kent its new chief executive officer.

Kent, a graduate of the University of Auckland, said she was honoured to be chosen for the role at WellPet, which is headquartered north of Boston.

“WellPet is on the cutting-edge of innovation in natural pet food, and I’m inspired every day by the expertise and commitment of our senior leadership team and the hundreds of team members who are part of the WellPet family,” Kent said.

Kent joined WellPet three years ago and has been serving as WellPet’s chief commercial officer, with responsibility for product development, sales and marketing.

Prior to joining WellPet in 2013, Kent served in senior global marketing roles for Timberland and Gillette.
