Oklahoma Appointment

Emma Gresson, originally from Hamilton, has joined The University of Oklahoma rowing staff as an assistant coach. Gresson previously worked with the Orlando, Florida Area Rowing Society (OARS), assisting with the junior girls’ programme and coaching and co-coordinating the men’s masters programme. Oklahoma head coach Leeanne Crain said of Gresson’s appointment: “She is a perfect fit for our programme. Her passion, enthusiasm, and love of the sport will factor significantly in the growth and development of our novice team.” Gresson competed collegiately at the University of Central Florida (UCF) where she also graduated with a degree in psychology in 29. In New Zealand, Gresson attended Otago University and in 26 placed first in the National Championship regatta in the U21 eight.
