Girl on Film All Year in Chicago

New Zealand architect Emily Oakley has documented 365 days of her stay in Chicago one video clip at a time. In her first post of the series on 23 January 2012, Oakley wrote, “I am very much looking forward to living here and getting to know this beautiful city.” Among the more obvious “go, see, do” moments, there are some delightful scenes of the traveller exploring a Windy City Rollers bout and the Puerto Rican Day pride parade. The Huffington Post wrote: “Summing up Chicago in a few images let alone a single one is a tall order, but [Oakley] did a pretty incredible job.”
