All Eyes on Air New Zealand at Paris Air Show

Air New Zealand was the centre of attention at the Paris Air Show with their new black livery on display and world first ‘sharklets’ on display. The airlines new Airbus A320 was officially presented to them at the airshow, complete with unique ‘sharklets’ on its wing tips in black Air New Zealand livery. Airbus says the eight foot tall ‘sharklets’ will help improve fuel efficiency by up to 4%, enabling the airline to expand their range by 100 nautical miles or their load by 4.5 tonnes on each tank of fuel. Air New Zealand has placed orders for 10 ‘sharklet’-equipped A320s with Airbus.
