New Zealad National Film Unit presents ‘NZ Celebrates VE Day’, from Weekly Review 195 (1945). Shows people gathered at the front of the government building in Wellington and a General claimed the end of European War. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister gives a speech to public. The national ceremony on the streets of Wellington and Christchurch is then shown.
