Obscure Podcast Get Flushed Rated Highly

“Many is the podcaster who talks crap, but New Zealander Pete (perhaps understandably, he prefers not to share his surname) gets down and dirty with actual effluent in Get Flushed,” Fiona Sturges writes in a Guardian article recommending the “crème de la crème” of obscure podcasts.

“Launched last year, the series [Get Flushed] already has a following that goes beyond toilet professionals as it shares dispatches from the sharp end of the sanitation industry,” Sturges writes. “Areas of discussion include the best (and worst) toilet paper, chemical treatments, odour elimination and the unholy mess that people leave behind in portable toilets.”

In one episode, Pete interviews American Chelsea Wald, the award-winning author of Pipe Dreams: The Urgent Global Quest to Transform the Toilet.
