FBI role for Curtis

Actor Cliff Curtis, 42, takes on the role of a top forensic consultant for the FBI in the ABC Dana Delany-led midseason drama Body of Proof. Rotorua-born Curtis — who also appeared as flight medic Rabbit in NBC drama Trauma and as the evil Fire Lord Ozai in The Last Airbender — will play Derek Ames, a potential love interest for Delany’s divorced medical examiner. Curtis co-produced Taika Waititi’s film Boy, which has gone on to become the highest grossing New Zealand film.
