Dreamscapes Helps Children

Auckland visual artist and art educator Vivien Masters is collaborating with New York’s Brookdale Hospital in July as part of her international non-profit art classes for seriously ill children, the Dreamscape Project. “Art and play are more than just fun for these children, they are crucial outlets of self-expression that aid coping and healing,” Masters says. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Visual Arts from AUT in 2009, she has regularly exhibited her work in New Zealand and Australia.
