Canada, your time is NOW

NZ adventurer Phil Keoghan is about to launch his hit TV series No Opportunity Wasted (NOW) in Canada. In each half-hour episode of NOW – based on his best-selling book of the same name – two challengers are paid a surprise visit by Keoghan, who asks them if they want to start facing their fear. “It gives people a crack at doing something that they may have been procrastinating about for a long, long time,” he says. “It could be the fear of heights, the fear of sharks, the fear of trying something new, the fear of doing something for somebody else on a big scale … and people are always surprised when I tell them that it’s right now.” Born in Christchurch, LA-based Keoghan has won four Emmy awards as the host of The Amazing Race, now in its eleventh US season.
