Home in the Desert

Moving to Las Vegas was a dream come true for New Zealander Jennifer Scott, a former journalist and magazine editor. Scott said she has had an obsession with the city since she visited in 2003. “Las Vegas was the first American city I visited, my first American experience,” Scott said. “You don’t get a much better American experience than Las Vegas.” Scott is the publicist for the Las Vegas Philharmonic. With help from Scott, the Philharmonic has woven itself in with the cultural fabric in downtown. She said she is proud to help shape the cultural landscape of the city, and she is in it for the long haul.
