Wellington band The Black Seeds latest album Dust and Dirt featured at No 4 in Deutsch Vogue’s May Playlist. “Reggae from New Zealand?” the publication questions, “Yes,” mentioning the “airy” title track, sure to be a “summer time favourite.” Formed in 1998, The Black Seeds perform with eight members. They have two double-platinum selling albums in New Zealand and successful European album releases through the German-based Sonar Kollektiv label. The Black Seeds are currently touring Australia ahead of European dates throughout August.
