Telstra-CEO Explains his Trans-Tasman Upbringing

Born in Australia and raised in New Zealand, Telstra CEO David Thodey is a product of both countries – a real Trans-Tasman hybrid. Speaking at the Trans-Tasman Business Circle luncheon in Sydney, Thodey explained what being an Aussie-Kiwi means to him. “I think of myself as truly Trans-Tasman. My parents were New Zealanders. I was born in Australia and brought up in New Zealand. I support the All Blacks and also the Australian cricket team – when they are winning.”
