Honouring the Greats

Prince Charles is greeted with a hongi by Bruce Simpson from the Ngati Ranana London Maori Club during a reception at St James’s Palace for prominent New Zealanders, Australians and Papua New Guineans. Among the 200 guests were soprano Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, former New Zealand rugby captain Sean Fitzpatrick, comic Barry Humphries, broadcaster and musician Rolf Harris. Australian singer Kylie Minogue performed.
