Guest Fashion Editor Role for Model Nikki Phillips

Model and blogger New Zealander Nikki Phillips joins the Yahoo7 team during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia. The entertainment portal asks Phillips about her fashion week survival essentials.

A seasoned fashion week attendee and front row go-er, Phillips is well-versed on the essentials needed to survive the back-to-back show cycle.

Her top essentials to make it through the week? In addition to her must-have bag of the season, (the Gucci Dionysus) Phillips swears by comfortable flat shoes in between the shows.

“With some shows being off-site, it is easier to hail a cab or run to each show in flats,” Phillips says.

As for keeping fresh-faced throughout the week, Phillips admits she can’t live without paw-paw ointment, rosehip oil spray, a good mascara and of course, concealer to banish under-eye circles during the week.

In between shows, Phillips will be keeping a close eye on the Instagram accounts of style blogger @Margret_Zhang, street style photographer @stylesnooperdan and street style account @streetstyleaustralia, which aggregates the best looks of the week.
