Clark was in London attending Tony Blair’s ‘Third Way’ summit – a gathering of centre-left government leaders including Germany’s Gerhard Schroeder, South Africa’s Thabo Mbeki, and ex-US President Bill Clinton. In the Guardian‘s low-down of ‘New Labour’s favourite leaders,’ she is described as “the outspoken prime minister of a country that has reinvented its politics in the past decade.”
