Britain’s got Talent star Susan Boyle performed Crowded House classic Don’t Dream It’s Over on The Oprah Winfrey Show in October with the cover also included on Boyle’s new Christmas album The Gift. “Don’t Dream It’s Over is not a Christmas song, but it’s a feel-good song, it’s a very pretty song,” Boyle said of the song written by Neil Finn. The track reached No. 2 on the US Billboard Hot 1. Don’t Dream It’s Over has been covered by numerous artists including Paul Young, Sixpence None The Richer, Howie Day and Sarah Blasko.
