HOMELANZ – Your place & mine

Date: 10 August 2013

Location: Boston Manor Park, Boston Manor Road, Brentford, Middlesex, TW8 9JX

Host: Homelanz

Homelanz is three this year! And we’re celebrating with our best-ever line up of Southern Hemisphere music, culture, food and drink. Creating a home away from home in a friendly, convenient, leafy corner of West London.

Once again the Southern Hemisphere’s favourite musicians, living
internationally and locally, as well as exciting new local talent will be
performing on the main stage. You can catch headliners Tahuna Breaks, I am Giant, Blue King Brown and Desmond and the Tutus, along with up-and-comers What Now, This Flight Tonight, Glenn Aitken, Jakob Deist and Bowie Jane.

DJs in the massively popular Silent Disco, cultural performances as well as a sponsored chill out area, rugby bus and kids zone – will keep everyone
entertained throughout the day.

Homelanz Festival opens its gates to not only Southern Hemisphere travellers, workers and expats, but also anyone interested in enjoying an
authentic Southern Hemisphere experience, including families and the local community.

There will also be numerous food vendors catering to all taste buds. Wine sellers will be offering the chance to sample and purchase wines from the small as well as big name producers available here in the UK.

Need expert advice on visiting or moving down under? Or help settling-in up here? Then speak to the travel specialists, accommodation providers, banks, money services, recruitment companies and shippers in The Village.

We’re also proud to be hosting Zimfest this year. And can’t wait to see The Nomad pop-up cinema (www.whereisthenomad.com) special screening of PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT on the Friday evening, 9th August!

So come for an authentic home-away-from-home experience. A place where everyone has a strong Southern Hemisphere link. And if you don’t one when you arrive, you soon will!

Boston Manor Park is a short journey from central London via the Underground and a mere 10 minutes walk from both Boston Manor Underground and British Rail stations.
