Lydia Ko ‘Just Incredible’

Steve Williams says he’s almost lost for words when it comes to fellow Kiwi Lydia Ko’s achievements, according to The Age. Williams has caddied for Tiger Woods, Greg Norman, Raymond Floyd and now Adam Scott but admits 15-year-old Ko blows his mind. Ko came up just short of a fourth professional victory as an amateur when she finished third behind Korean winner Jiyai Shin at the Women’s Australian Open at Royal Canberra. She had previously won the New South Wales Open, Canadian Open and New Zealand Open titles. ‘I don’t know Lydia at all but obviously I have followed her very closely and it really is hard to explain in words how good what she has already achieved is,’ Williams told The Age. ‘It’s really hard to fathom. To be that good, that young, and that composed at that age is just incredible, ‘Williams is quoted as saying. Williams will meet Ko’s mentor Guy Wilson in coming weeks to impart his wisdom about life on tour.
