Living a Kiwi Life – Ep. 18 – Milford Track

Deciding to take on another great New Zealand walk the couple decided to try the famed Milford Track in Milford Sound! With a healthy mix of rain, snow and occasional clearings it proved to be an amazing experience. The trek had a definite epic feeling, with the couple feeling like they were tramping across the snow capped Misty Mountains on their way to destroy the One Ring in Mordor. As they trekked it out of season they were able to hike the track in reverse from Milford Sound to Mintaro Hut and back again going over MacKinnon’s Pass twice.
