Towering Forward Impresses

Wellington basketball player, former Scots College student, Steven Adams is Sports Illustrated’s ‘High School Player of the Month’. Seven-foot Adams, who has relocated to the United States playing for Notre Dame Prep, is immensely talented and beginning to show his stuff stateside. The towering forward is still adjusting to his new home, settling in for his final semester while learning the American basketball culture. Notre Dame Prep coach Ryan Hurd said: “I think he’ll be very successful.” Stevens must gain American high school experience before he becomes eligible to play the 2012-13 college season for the University of Pittsburgh.
