The Woman with the Whistle

Kirstin Daly has been made the first woman in Australasia to coach a men’s basketball team at national level. The former NZ women’s captain is to take the helm at Hawke’s Bay. Says club management; “[The players] have practiced under her during the pre-season and while we were holding back, wondering if this was the right move, they were urging us to run with it.”
