NZ Student Rugby Team Performs Haka at Fast Food Restaurant in Ireland

A New Zealand student rugby team from Wairoa College Rugby Academy has performed a haka at a Supermacs at a service station in Ireland.

The video that was filmed by customers of the restaurant was posted on the service station’s Facebook page and has been viewed over 28,000 times.

“Just another normal day at Junction 14 #haka #weheartrugby “, read the post.

The under-18 group “gave it their all when stamping their feet, puffing out their chests and shouting the war cry”, according to an article in the Daily Mail.

The young rugby players are travelling to various destinations in Europe as well as Dubai to compete with other rugby students.

With their performance, the college team paid tribute to the All Blacks’ first match of this year’s Rugby World Cup.
