Latham Takes Gold

Te Awamutu-born Peter Latham, 28, has won the men’s 4000m individual pursuit race at the UCI World Cup event in Beijing. Latham produced a time of 4:25.964 to beat Mitchell Mulhern (4:26.267) from Australia in the final. With the victory Latham now goes top of the World Cup standings. Latham currently competes for the Bissell Pro Cycling Team in the United States.
