Isaac Burrough Concept Catamaran a Luxury Statement

New Zealand-born designer Isaac Burrough has inaugurated a new yacht design studio in Amsterdam with the release of a 60m sailing catamaran concept, featuring an infinity pool, a 12-person cinema and a glass-bottom jacuzzi.

A perfect toy for super-rich holidaymakers who love nothing more than a relaxing cruise through the French Riviera or Caribbean, the catamaran has a glass wall at the back of the main deck, windows that wrap over the top of the interior and more than enough space for a memorable party at sea.

The yacht can accommodate up to twelve guests in five spacious cabins.

Tender storage is located on the main deck forward of the accommodation. There is space for a 10m tender in the port hull, plus a 6m tender and three personal watercraft on starboard.

Burrough said in a statement: “The exceptional thing about a catamaran of this length is that you can have an efficient, slender hull form while also creating a spacious luxury interior.

“It also reduces the need for an excessive amount of stairs to access the various spaces on board.

“Before now most sailing superyacht catamaran designs have focused on high performance. Conversely, this concept presents a dynamic onboard environment, where guests can enjoy both active and relaxed experiences in ultimate luxury.”

Burrough has a Masters in marine design from Massey University.
