Designer Rebecca Taylor Serves Up Crisp and Breezy

“Last year, [New Zealand-born designer] Rebecca Taylor chucked up the deuces to her beloved New York City to set up shop in Paris and unveil a City of Light-inspired lineup for her Fall 2019 ready to wear collection,” Nerisha Penrose writes for ELLE. “But as they say, you can take the girl out of the city, but you can’t take the city out of the girl, so for her latest venture, Tailored Rebecca Taylor, the designer looked to the fast-paced streets of New York City to dress the woman on the go.

“Designed to bridge the gap between traditional Rebecca Taylor gals and those who may need something a little more buttoned up for the workplace, the Tailored Rebecca Taylor wear-to-work collection serves up looks like a crisp white suit with lace floral applique, a breezy navy set with wide leg pants, a sleeveless ruffle-trim dress perfect for summer presentations, plus a high-neck Victorian blouse that can go from your office to happy hour,” Penrose writes.

Taylor, 49, is originally from Wellington.
