Children Rule On Big Screen

Children’s television series, The Tribe, which was first produced in New Zealand, is being developed into a film in the United States. According to Variety, “Peter Jackson’s Weta Workshop has already agreed to tackle the project’s special effects and overall design duties should the bigscreen project land a greenlight. Richard Taylor and his team there would oversee the project. Weta worked on episodes of the TV show.” The Tribe, which last aired in 23, is set in a post-apocalyptic world where adults have been wiped out by a virus and young people have to fend for themselves.
