Brendon McCullum Honoured as New Zealand Order of Merit

Brendon McCullum has been recognised as an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for his achievements during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 as well as the Black Caps’ incredible success in 2014.

“McCullum said the honour was ‘incredibly humbling’”, as reported on Cricket.com.au.

“When you are presented with an opportunity like this then you is very mindful of who has gone before and all those who will be here in the future… and (you) respectfully accept those things,” said Cullum.

The New Zealand batsman confirmed that he has committed himself towards the national team for at least 12 months.
