53M Views for All Blacks Men In Black Airline Safety Video

Air New Zealand’s new safety video, shown on all domestic and international flights, is featuring the New Zealand All Blacks, who have teamed up with former rugby rivals in the Man In Black-themed safety clip.

The Men in Black Safety Defenders video features coach Steve Hansen as well as current All Blacks players along with former Wallabies winger David Campese and ex-England captain Martin Johnson.

“Captain Richie McCaw and fly-half Dan Carter play MiB agents, Australian Idol winner Stan Walker raps alongside winger Israel Dagg, and Hollywood actor Rip Torn reprises his role as Zed, head of the MiB”, as reported in CNN.

The video, which was produced in collaboration with Sony Pictures, seems to become the most popular Air New Zealand safety video to date and has “been viewed more than 53 million times online”.

Air New Zealand is known for its unique safety videos such as the Most Epic Safety Video Ever Made – a Hobbit inspired clip featuring Sir Peter Jackson and Elijah Wood.
