Kiwi baritone Teddy Tahu Rhodes is the Weekend Australian’s cover-boy for his lead role in opera Dead Man Walking, which opens shortly at Adelaide’s Festival Theatre. The opera is based on the story of murderer Joseph de Rocher’s redemption at the hands of a Louisiana nun – the eponymous Oscar-winning film starring Susan Sarandon and Sean Penn is drawn from the same story.
