Super Swap for Winger

Canterbury Crusaders winger Sean Maitland, 24, has signed a contract with Super Rugby side Glasgow Warriors and could be eligible for the national team immediately due to his Scottish grandparents. “We’re delighted to be welcoming a player of Maitland’s calibre to Glasgow Warriors,” coach Gregor Townshend said. “He will be a fantastic addition to our squad and will, I’m sure, be very popular with our supporters.” World champions New Zealand face Scotland on 11 November in Edinburgh in the first match of their end of season tour to Europe. Maitland is originally from Tokoroa.
