Jane Campion’s seven-part miniseries Top of the Lake, which was shot in and around Queenstown, premieres on the Sundance Channel in the United States on 18 March. “It’s the most comprehensive documentation of modern New Zealand that’s ever been done at such a large scale,” Mad Men star Elizabeth Moss said at a recent winter press tour. The seven-part miniseries from Oscar winner Campion (The Piano) follows the mysterious disappearance of a 12-year-old girl who is five months pregnant in a quiet New Zealand town. Moss plays investigative detective Robin Griffin. Holly Hunter also stars.
