Debbie Tanner claimed the first major victory of her career at the 26 ITU Ishigaki World Cup triathlon in Japan. UK veteran Michelle Dillon and fellow Kiwi Samantha Warriner came second and third respectively. “I am stoked,” said Tanner. “I’ve never been on a podium before. My first podium and it’s on top. I felt really strong today, and this season has been a dream so far.”
