NZ’s New South Island Mountain Bike Tour

A new bike tour on New Zealand’s South Island “is taking intrepid cyclists to mountainous hideaways so remote that their luggage has to be flown in by helicopter,” as reported in an article in The Daily Telegraph.

“We’ve custom designed the trip with our Kiwi guides to feature the country’s best riding spots and some South Island secrets that are not to be missed both on and off the bike,” said H+I Adventures director Euan Wilson.

The 13-day journey begins in Christchurch and finishes in Queenstown. It “takes riders everywhere from some of New Zealand’s best loved attractions to a “Holy Trail” that few locals even know of.”

Highlights of the trip include stops at Kaikoura, Hanmer, Ghost Lake, Craigieburn and Wanaka as well as riding along the ridge of Mount Pisa.

The first tour will start on November 21, 2016.
