Making the Right Moves

Now a veteran globe-trotting performer at the ripe old age of 22, Kimbra seems to be making all the right moves, Bill Locey writes for the Ventura County Star. “Lurkers, assorted geeks a gawkin’ and editors who select magazine cover art are all drooling equally over Kimbra, who appears rock-star ready in a Katy Perry sort of way.” Kimbra talks to Locey after her first headline European tour and ahead of North American dates. “Did you have an ‘aha’ moment when you knew you might be on to something?” Locey asks. “‘Being asked to write for the new Tim Burton soundtrack CD was pretty exciting, I’m a huge fan of his work.
