Lorde Immortalised in Wax at Madame Tussauds

Madame Tussauds in Hollywood has unveiled a wax figure of 18-year-old New Zealand singer Lorde.

Human Lorde was quite excited when the wax museum’s Hollywood location revealed her figure. She tweeted out a photo of her meltable self, adding, “omg guys … it’s my pleasure to finally announce that @MadameTussauds made me into a WAX FIGURE!”

“It was an incredibly detailed process sitting for the waxwork,” Lorde said, “and the team at MT were so passionate and skilled!”

When fellow New Zealander and producer Joel Little quipped it was “good to know” he could “just pop down the road” when he wants to “hang” with the Grammy winner, Lorde didn’t miss a beat. Ella 1 (presumably) joked right back, “next time I’m in LA I’ll just borrow Ella II and arrange her relaxedly [sic] in her jacuzzi … ”

Lorde is currently working on the follow-up album to her 2013 multi-award winning debut Pure Heroine.
