Limited Fashion Collection Honouring Burt Munro

A limited fashion collection that honours Burt Munro and his racing heritage has been released, as reported by autoevolution.

“For those who still don’t know who Burt Munro was, the “World’s Fastest Indian” moniker should be more than revealing,” writes Florin Tibu.

Munro, a New-Zealand native, became internationally known for the records he broke at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah in the 1960s. He still holds the world land speed record aboard an under 1,000cc Indian motorbike.

He was “a pivotal character in Indian (motorbikes’) history” and “has become a symbol of authentic passion and dedication to motorcycles.”

According to the article “the limited edition Spirit of Munro apparel line exudes a sober, vintage elegance that seems to match both the spirit of the modern Indian Motorcycles and the vibe of the racer they evoke.”

The collection – made for men and women, will be available until May 31.
