Keep an Eye on Catwalk Star Holly Rose Emery

Aucklander Holly Rose Emery, 17, is one of “Three Models to Keep An Eye On” this year, according to New York’s Metro US newspaper.

“For spring/summer 2014, Emery took on almost 30 shows, pretty good for her first ever ready-to-wear season. Highlights for the teen included Chanel, Valentino and closing the Mulberry show. With her fresh-faced, full-lipped look that brings Lindsey Wixson to mind, we’ll bet 2014 will see her in more than just a couple of editorial spreads.”

Harper’s Bazaar also chose her as its “New Face” for 2014: “In her first ever ready-to-wear season … Emery, has done it with aplomb, demonstrating a maturity, professionalism and stamina far beyond her years.”

Emery is based in New York. She is the current face of New Zealand designer Kate Sylvester.
