Karl Lagerfeld and Muse Stella Maxwell Team Up

Supermodel and Victoria Secret’s Angel Stella Maxwell, 28, who was discovered at Otago University, has been enlisted by Karl Lagerfeld to be the face of his new make-up range.

Lagerfeld, Chanel’s creative director, launched his collection in association with cult Australian cosmetics brand ModelCo and it’s been inspired by his beloved cat, Choupette, who even has her own Instagram account.

The German fashion designer has previously worked with Maxwell, who says she is now “obsessed” with the lip balm from the range which costs £14 and comes in an amazing Karl-shaped metallic pink or silver holder.

Maxwell fronts the campaign, dubbed “Kiss Me Karl,” in a tuxedo jacket with pink lips, full fluffy eyebrows and cascading blonde locks.

This is not the first time Lagerfeld and Maxwell have teamed up.

She fronted his own-brand fashion collection last year, and has secured the title of Lagerfeld muse.

Maxwell was born in Belgium, but moved to Wellington when she was 14 where she attended Queen Margaret College.
