Hospitality Guru Shane Green to the Rescue

Las Vegas hospitality guru New Zealander Shane Green is the host of new Travel Chanel reality show, Resort Rescue. Green shows owners his unbelievable hidden camera discoveries and why their resort is in bad shape. Once the major issues are discussed, he snaps into action and shows the owners and staff how to create a top-notch resort.

Resort hotel staffs have no idea Green is filming them. He scours each resort from top to bottom – from using a blacklight to check for clean bedding to catching a bartender neglecting new customers to an out-of-control guest in a resort pool.

Green’s service and leadership style was developed with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. and has continued to evolve through his strategy and cultural work for some of the most recognised brands in the world.

As the founder of SGEi headquartered in Summerlin, Las Vegas, Green finds himself designing cultural blueprints, developing learning experiences and other socialisation tools and consulting on customer experiences for professional sports, automotive, retail and hospitality brands.

As a native New Zealander, he believes his ability to offer clear and concise insight and direction comes from his humble beginnings.

“Coming from a small country like New Zealand, you have to maintain a global perspective. We knew we did not have it all or know it all, so there was always a focus on other countries, perspectives and ideas.”
