Homemade Air Adventure

New Zealand pilots George Richards and Darryn Morgan are participating in America’s largest experimental aviation convention — the EAA Airventure in Oshkosh, Wisconsin — and are flying there from Chino, California in Richard’s homemade Falco aircraft. It took Richards almost ten years to build his plane, a hobby he picked up and taught himself with the help of online forums. The pair took turns flying from California, through Arizona and then on to New Mexico, ahead of their final leg to Wisconsin.
