Hobbit Production Rolls

Production has now begun on Peter Jackson’s film adaptation of The Hobbit, set in Middle-earth 6 years before The Lord of the Rings. Not an earthquake, a health scare, a labour conflict, financial concerns or the loss of a director could stop the production of The Hobbit, the two-film version of J.R.R. Tolkien’s beloved book. Like the trilogy, the Hobbit movies will be shot back-to-back, and this time using 3-D technology. The films are set to be released in 212 and 213.
