Chisholm to Packer

New Zealand-born media supremo Sam Chisholm has resigned as a Director of Telstra to join Kerry Packer’s media group PBL. Chisholm, 64, retains his chairmanship of Foxtel. He was head of Nine in Australia before becoming Chief Executive of British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB) for several years. He was Executive Director of News Corp until 1999. Chisholm is the consummate  worker of phones and backrooms in some of the biggest Australian-led media initiatives.
